About

EntrepreneuHER2020, the world's largest all-female makeathon, was founded by Font Femme Magazine, and organized in partnership with Girl Tech Boss and Bit By Bit NYC.

The EntrepreneuHER2020 team is here to nurture an entrepreneurial spirit in high school girls by providing a foundation for idea exploration and implementation through workshops in design, coding, marketing, and many other industry applicable skills. We believe that the best way to become an incredible entrepreneur is to think like one. That’s why we designed our makeathon to teach students across the globe the design thinking methodologies needed to successfully start any initiative, whether that be a product, business, nonprofit organization, and more!

Over the course of the event, students developed their own initiatives, using their interests in STEM to solve problems in their communities as a result of the pandemic.  Throughout the event, we celebrated not just the top-performing pitches, but also victories throughout the two days. Why? Because we believe that success is not simply defined by the finished product, but by the milestones we reach along the way. For newcomers to entrepreneurship, this means empowering them to own their place alongside the experienced.

EntrepreneuHER2020 provides access to mentorship and an online platform for girls to meet female founders, discuss solutions,  dream big with one another, and to ultimately take the leap and start their own initiatives.
